About the project

Using Climate Change Scenarios to Inform Community-based Adaptations and Planning in Nepal (CCSICAPN) project is funded by Frontier Technology and aims to develop ways to inform and capacitate local government to make use of existing data, policies, and technology to enable local government to implement DRRM and CCA related plans and interventions through data-driven decision making. CCSICAPN is an eighteen-month-long project that is being implemented in Bhotekoshi rural and Rajapur municipalities.

Objective

The objectives of the consultancy is as follows:

Support the CCSICAPN project officers (POs) at Rajapur Municipality and Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality in classification, proper visualization and presentation of municipal budgets and expenditures over past six fiscal years.

3	Assist Planning Officers (POs) in evaluating budget and expenditure data for Rajapur Municipality and Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality over a six-year period, to identify potential trends, gaps etc.	3.1	Categorize the data and activities from the past six fiscal years under appropriate headings, and create clear and comprehensible graphical representations to uncover potential trends, patterns, consistencies, as well as identify any potential gaps in Rajapur Municipality and Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality	40
4	Share the findings and learning	4.1	A presentation detailing data analysis, representation techniques, trend analysis, comparative studies, and methodologies for comprehensive data examination	4

Timeframe and supervision

The calculated duration for the consultancy will be 10 days from 25 September, 2023 to 15 November, 2023. The consultant will directly report to the Project Manager and work together with the planning officers.

Payment Schedule

20% of the total contractual amount will be paid after the completion and submission of task number 1 and 2

80% of the total contractual amount will be paid after the completion and submission of task number 3, 4 and 5.
